Profile

Martin is now Professor Emeritus of Information Engineering and consequently is in the School of Engineering (only part-time). He was formerly head of Department of Mechanical and Design Engineering (1994-2000) and lectured in embedded and real-time systems; advanced processors; operating systems; introductory data communications and networking; and physical layer technology. He was focal point officer for SEAE Arborfield and one of the group of pioneers of PBL in the department. He continues to research in simulated electronic teaching systems and interfacing.
