Misha Filip is a graduate electronic engineer (Belgrade, 1987) with a PhD in digital satellite communications (CNAA, 1992). He has research and development experience of digital systems including microprocessor system design and communications hardware in industry (De La Rue Systems Ltd) and academia (University of Belgrade, Portsmouth Polytechnic).
Misha has been a lecturer since 1993 and the head of department/school since 2002. He was a UK national representative for COST 255 and the Chairman of COST 280 projects. He teaches Communications Systems and Broadcast Engineering topics.
Misha is an IET accreditor, Director of the City of Portsmouth Boys’ School Trust and a regular reviewer for IET Electronic Letters and IET Communications. He also acts as an external examiner for the universities of Plymouth, Westminster and the MCAST College in Malta.
