Profile

Linda has been a Senior Lecturer at University of Portsmouth since 2004. She has been involved in teaching in the area of computer network, Web technologies and Internet applications.

Linda is a member of the IET, WES and HEA. She has worked on a number of UK and European funded research projects. Her research interests include intelligent information retrieval, context-aware computing, information recommendation, mobile computing as well as their applications in Internet, social networks, health-informatics and business. She is a member of the Parallel and Distributed Systems research group and also Communications and Networks Engineering Group.

Linda is also the departmental library liaison officer and academic timetabling officer.
