Profile
After emigrating from Viet Nam to the USA, Chi received an engineering degree from Harvard University. His career in financial services included roles as Programmer Analyst at Goldman Sachs, Ecommerce Strategist at Deutsche Bank, Chief Technology Officer at Eventures UK, Principal at Evolution Fund and Chief Executive Officer at Procomsoft. He joined the University of Portsmouth in 2004.
He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His teaching responsibilities include:

Chi is the developer of the Mosaic website (http://mosaic.cnfolio.com) that allows online submission, feedback and marking of student coursework. The website is based on an open source wiki package and contains custom functionalities for teaching and learning.
His research interests include teaching methods, authentication systems and programmable electronics such as Arduino and Monome projects.
