Gareth Lambert (A0.22) is a Research Student in the area of Automation and Robotics in the School of Engineering. Gareth is investigating the automation of welding and manufacturing processes in the ship building industry.
Gareth Lambert has completed the Post Graduate Certificate in Research Methods and has transferred from MPhil to PhD.
A student bursary from the University had funded the work and VT Shipbuilding had provided access to some equipment. Gareth is now self-funded while he writes up the work for a Viva.
