High-availability Scheduling Management System using Mentor's CASH for Windows
Daniel James Hadland
During the course of meetings with the IT Director and Technical Support Manager in February 2010 three key weaknesses were identified with Chris Lewis Fire & Security's current implementation of CASH. The remote user experience is poor, the system is not redundant and requires excessive time to recover from faults and there is a large performance disparity between Oxford desktop users and terminal server users with terminal server users experiencing significantly better performance. The resolution of these issues is the aim of this final year project.
