The Department of Geography at Portsmouth is a popular student destination which has received excellent results in recent student satisfaction surveys. Both the human and physical geography courses scored well, with human geography courses receiving a satisfaction rate of 95%, whilst physical and environmental geography scored 97% We pride ourselves on our student centred approach.
We offer a range of degree programmes which are taught in state of the art facilities. For those interested in coming to Portsmouth, we would strongly recommend coming to our preview and open days to see what we have to offer.
We are committed to providing our students with transferable skills attractive to a range of employers. As well as these broad transferable skills, our curriculum offers you the potential to specialise in areas such as environmental management, coastal and fluvial management, physical and human geography and GIS.
