Geography

Open days

The Department of Geography and the University each run a series of Open Days for prospective students. These are intended primarily for students who have placed Portsmouth on their list of UCAS choices and want to know more.

Geography Open Days are organized by staff of the Department in order to introduce potential students to the Department and the nature of the Geography degree course. Our Open Days are a popular and informative event and we hope you will leave with a good impression of the Geography degree course and studying in Portsmouth.

You will automatically be sent an invitation if you receive an offer from us.

If you would like to visit the Department please contact: Science Admissions Team.

There are also other opportunities to visit the Department of Geography on University Preview Days which are your chance to get a genuine insight into life at the University of Portsmouth before you apply. Later, there are also University Clearing Days (aimed at prospective students after their results are known).
