New lecturer in human geography and GIS

The Department of Geography are pleased to announce the appointment of a new lecturer in human geography and GIS, Dr Kate Jones. Kate’s first degree is in Environmental Geochemistry from Royal Holloway. A few years later after spending time working in the city she enrolled at UCL to complete a GIS Masters.
Kate's dissertation explored the spatial distribution of patients and general practices in the London Borough of Camden. Kate will be working closely with Dr Liz Twigg and teaching on human geography and GIS related units.
Kate is currently working on an EPSRC funded project exploring Successful Suburban Town Centres within London.
