Successful lectures on the Battle of the Solent & the Mary Rose

Dr Dominic Fontana lectured on the 13^th of December, 2012 on the topic of ‘Geography, Art and the Sinking of the Mary Rose’ to an audience at the National Archives in London. He will once again be lecturing on the 23^rd of January, 2013 on ‘the Battle of the Solent 1545’ at the Lymington Yacht Club.

The Battle of the Solent took place between Hampshire and the Isle of Wight and is known particularly for the sinking of the Mary Rose.
