Profile

Linley graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2008 with a first class degree in Marine Environmental Science and was the recipient of the Ocean Scientific International project prize.

Following graduation Linley worked for Emu Limited as an Environmental Scientist where he specialised in issues relating to water quality. He was also heavily involved in the research & development of sediment tracing technology for use in the marine aggregate extraction industry.

Linley is responsible for the management of all physical geography facilities, including all aspects of running and maintaining a teaching laboratory. He also participates in undergraduate, postgraduate and academic research.

In addition, as a Health and Safety Coordinator for the Geography department, Linley provides information on Health and Safety related issues to staff and students.
