Graduate School

The Getting Started Programme runs in October and Feburary each year and is compulsory for all new postgraduate research degree students. The programme familiarises new students studying for their research degree with the knowledge, resources and software necessary to manage their research training, provides opportunities to meet new colleagues and staff and provides an overview of the doctoral process and how best to manage it.

To enable our students to make rapid progress with their doctoral studies the Graduate School has arranged a two-day programme. Your faculty and/or department will organise local welcome events on 5th February 2013.  The Graduate School Events will be held from Wednesday 6th to Thursday 7th February in the Gradute School, room 4.09, 4th floor, St Andrews Court, St Michael's Road, PO1 2PR.

All newly registered PhD students are required to attend events from 5th-7th February 2013.
