We have a dynamic population of over 600 research students, including many international students, who form an essential and valued part of the of the University’s research culture.
People decide to study for a research degree for many reasons and at different points in their lives. Our research student community is wide ranging, embracing recent graduates, experienced academics and professionals along with people who may be returning to education after a break of many years.
The idea of starting a research degree with all it encompasses can be daunting and the Graduate School is here to guide you through the necessary steps to becoming a postgraduate research student.
