Human Resource and Marketing Management (HRMM)
Research
Welcome
Research is important for many reasons and it constitutes a growing and significant activity within the Department of Human Resource and Marketing Management. Many of the academic staff in the department have published leading papers in internationally rated journals, have worked extensively with public and private sector organisations in either a consultancy or training capacity or have written leading textbooks in their subject areas.
The department?s research activity complements the University?s research strategy programme. As a result we work with a range of organisations providing various research, consultancy and training expertise and facilities that reflects the expertise within the department. We publish scholarly papers, provide research and prepare reports for all sorts of organisations, write books and work with organisations in order to help improve levels of knowledge and overall performance.
An important part of the strategy is to work with research students who are studying for MPhil/PhD research degrees. Through our developing research community students work closely with their supervisory teams, publish papers and generate high quality work. This strategy is set to continue and we welcome applications from aspiring researchers and people who seek to lead and develop knowledge in their subject areas.
