Step 5 - Submitting a Claim

Your finalised claim should contain the following:

- A front sheet (word doc) that provides details of the claimant.

- An APEL claim form (Word doc) for each of the units for which you are making a claim.

For your experiential learning

- a description and explanation of your experiential learning

Claimants should select samples of their materials which best demonstrate the specific knowledge and skills for which they are making a claim, rather than every relevant document.

APEL assessors will want to know what you have learned and how it matches the learning outcomes of the units against which you are claiming.

APEL claims should be well organised with a front sheet and separate claim forms that are attached to the evidence of learning for each unit for which a claim is being made.

Make sure that all documents are clearly marked with your name and the course that you are applying for. All APEL applications will be processed within 4 weeks of submitting the application.
