PhD Bursaries

There is an annual competition for PhD funding, advertised at the start of each calendar year for positions beginning the following autumn. Awards are made in the form either of full bursaries, covering fees, a maintenance grant and fieldwork allowance, or as fees-only studentships which can be combined with an agreed allocation of hourly-paid teaching.
