The School of Law held its first Practice Management & Compliance Forum on 24 April 2012.  This was the first of a series of briefings aimed at solicitors and provides a much-needed forum for discussion of the current issues facing law firms, particularly in relation to practice management and compliance.  The first briefing was delivered by Alison Wooddisse, Head of Practice Compliance at LexisNexis, and some 25 local practitioners attended.  Alison's presentation about the rules affecting the new COLP was very well-received and was followed by a lively exchange of ideas on compliance and best practice.

Following this success, the next Forum is scheduled for 3 July when Melissa Hardee, Consultant at Hardee Consulting, will be joining us.
