Students in the School of Law are being invited to take part in an essay-writing competition, with the aim of getting them thinking commercially.

National law firm Clarke Willmott LLP launched the competition in the University on 23 January, and the prize is work experience.

The firm's Kelvin Balmont said: 'Good academic grades alone aren't enough - students need to develop other skills and understand the needs of the clients they work with. This competition should help anyone who enters to start thinking more about the challenges faced by their future clients'.
