Profile
Barry Hough LL.B., LL.M.
Barry is a graduate of the University of Exeter. He has previously taught at the Universities of Keele, Buckingham, Aberystwyth, Southampton Solent and Bournemouth. He is a former Deputy Dean (Research and Enterprise) and Professor of Law in the Business School, Bournemouth University.
Barry’s research interests lie in the fields of Employment law and Constitutional and Administrative law. He is the co-author of “Coleridge’s Laws: Study of Coleridge in Malta”, Open Book: Cambridge, 2010 which examines, from a Constitutional law perspective, S T Coleridge’s role in the government of Malta. The project was funded by the British Academy.
His current undergraduate teaching is in Employment law and Contract and Employment law. He also teaches Employment law to postgraduates.
Barry welcomes research proposals in Employment law, Constitutional law or Administrative law.
