Pat Feast LL.B., LL.M

Originally from Devon, Pat studied law at the University of London. Having previously worked for Central Government and been Heads of Departments in further education colleges, Pat joined Portsmouth Business School in 2007.

Teaching and Research Interests

Pat is unit co-ordinator for the undergraduate unit Discrmination and Conflict in employment Law and teaches Employment Law, Applied Contract Law and Discrimination and Human Rights Law to undergraduate students. At postgraduate level, she teaches Business Liability and Employment Law.

As Knowledge Transfer Co-ordinator, Pat is responsible for delivering continual professional development programmes to local employers and for engaging with both small business and the voluntary sector. Pat has received a grant from the Higher Education Innovation fund to work with small businesses in the area supporting them on a variety of legal issues.

Pat's research interests focus on discrimination law and current research projects include examining discrimination within discrimination in relation to pay and age and she is currently writing a book in Business Ethics for the Brazilian educational market.
