Courses we offer
The University of Portsmouth has been offering courses in Health and Safety to serve industrial and professional needs in the UK and abroad since 1976. In 1996 we successfully launched our distance learning programme.
The PgCert programme requires approximately 600 hours of study, over one year.

Application dates
There are two intakes per year in September and January.
The next intake for the PgCert is in September 2012. The deadline for applications for the next intake is the 3rd August 2012. However, depending on your type of entry you may be required to submit a portfolio. The deadline for portfolio submission is the 6th July 2012.
For January 2013 start, the deadline for applications is 30th November 2012. The deadline for portfolio submission is the 23rd November 2012.
