Type of entry (Entry requirements)
| Type 1 (without exemptions) |
A first degree and/or higher degree or equivalent NQF6 qualification (with at least 60% OHS content). Students will be required to provide a certified copy of the certificate. |

A diploma, higher or advanced or professional diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. NQF6 qualifications include: NEBOSH diploma, NEBOSH international diploma, BSC diploma or BOHS diploma in Occupational Hygiene. Students will be required to provide a certified copy of the certificate. |

A first degree and/or higher degree or equivalent NQF6 qualification (less than 60% OHS content), relevant health and safety professional experience and a minimum health and safety qualification equivalent L3. Students will be required to provide a certified copy of the certificate. |

| Type 2 (without exemptions) |
Appropriate professional qualifications with relevant health and safety professional experience. Applicants will be required to present a detailed portfolio of evidence to demonstrate the ability to study at level 7 and have a minimum health and safety qualification equivalent L3.
