In collaboration with the University of Portsmouth Education Liaison Department, we organise an annual Festival of Mathematics and Art. The festival brings together artists, mathematicians, school pupils, students, and the general public, in a month of events designed to explore the connections between Maths and the Arts, including wider issues such as the portrayal of mathematics and related concepts in film, performance art, and the news media.

The educational strand of the festival is organised by the Education Liaison Department and is supported by AimHigher, Portsmouth Schools Improvement Service, and the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics.
