Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics is repeating the success of its popular Mathematics Masterclasses for Year 8 school pupils.

This Masterclass will be delivered by Sue Pope, Lecturer in Secondary Mathematics Education, based at St. Martin's College, Lancaster, who is an expert in the Mathematics of origami.

The Masterclasses are designed to enthuse and engage young people in Mathematics and encourage them to further their mathematical studies.  The Masterclasses have been designed with, and are run in conjunction with, local Mathematics school teachers.
