Multi-Objective Programming and Goal Programming (MOPGP) Conferences

MOPGP is an international group devoted to promoting multi-objective programming (MOP) and Goal Programming (GP), techniques and applications. It is responsible in organising international conferences. It brings together the researchers and practitioners from different disciplines of Optimisation, Operational Research, Mathematical Programming and Mulit-criteria analysis. The latest theoretical and algorithmic developments in the field of MOP and GP are presented.

The Management Mathematics group (MMG) in Portsmouth successfully organised and hosted the first international conference of "Multi-Objective and Goal programming: Theories and Applications" (MOPGP94) at the University of Portsmouth, UK in June 1994. The group was involved in the second MOPGP conference (MOPGP96) in collaboration with the Universities of Cordoba and Malaga, which was held in Torremolinos, Spain (16-18 May 1996). The MMG was also involved in organisation of the third MOPGP conference (31 May, 1-3 June 1998) in collaboration with Universitë Laval, Quebec City, Canada (MOPGP98).
