Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences

The School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences at Portsmouth enjoys state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities and is located in the heart of the city.

We offer a wide range of full and part-time courses, extended courses for those students who have been out of education for a while. Many of our courses are professionally recognised.

The School is part of the Institute of Biomedical and Biomolecular Science (IBBS). The Institute serves as a focus for multidisciplinary research in the biomedical sciences, including both fundamental studies and applied research in the molecular biosciences.

Research in the School is diverse, including groups in Oncology, Molecular Medicine, Drug Delivery and Natural Products.
