Bowling night A Pharmacy bowling night has raised a substanstial amount of money for a cancer charity.

Dr Lee Banting says, 'Tuesday 13th December 2011 saw the 'clash of the titans', School staff accompanied students in team endeavours to show their acumen in ten pin bowling and to win prizes.  A good turn out allowed us to start well, this slowly deteriorated into bedlam during the evening as confusion reigned. I believe the prize was shared between Dr Jeremy Mills and Dr Lee Banting’s teams, a voucher for more bowling, as if our fingers hadn't suffered enough!'

A good pre-Christmas time was had by all and the evening contributed toward the £800 (!) raised by the School for CLIC Sargent (Children with cancer).

The School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences would like to extend a big thank you to the staff and PPSA who worked hard together to make this evening possible and hope for more organised events to come.
