Profile

Background

I studied in Leiden in the Netherlands for my BSc in psychology and graduated in 2007, I remained in Leiden for an MPhil in psychology: cognitive neuroscience, which I completed in 2009. I first visited this department and stayed here for four months in the fall of 2008 as part of my MPhil. I enjoyed my stay here and I decided to come back one year later.

Research

I started my PhD studies in October 2009 with Aldert Vrij and Samantha Mann as supervisors. My research aims to investigate the problem of lying about intentions.
