Background

Frances is the Department Manager and has overall responsibility for the administrative support for the Psychology Department. Frances joined the University in 1991 and has progressed from Clerk/Typist to her present post which she commenced in 1999. 

Her main duties include:

  • Management of administrative staff.
  • Responsibility for the administration of the courses run by the Department.
  • Coordinating update of Unit Descriptions database and maintaining accurate course structures.
  • Assistance with Department Quality Reviews.
  • Liaising with Faculty and Central Services, e.g. Academic Registry.
  • Organising examination timetable with Central Services.
  • Overseeing paperwork for Unit Assessment Boards and Board of Examiners.
  • Preparation of assessment result letters to students.
