Background
Frances is the Department Manager and has overall responsibility for the administrative support for the Psychology Department. Frances joined the University in 1991 and has progressed from Clerk/Typist to her present post which she commenced in 1999.
Her main duties include:
- Management of administrative staff.
- Responsibility for the administration of the courses run by the Department.
- Coordinating update of Unit Descriptions database and maintaining accurate course structures.
- Assistance with Department Quality Reviews.
- Liaising with Faculty and Central Services, e.g. Academic Registry.
- Organising examination timetable with Central Services.
- Overseeing paperwork for Unit Assessment Boards and Board of Examiners.
- Preparation of assessment result letters to students.
