Profile

I started work at the University of Portsmouth in 1996.  I joined the Department of Psychology in 2006.  

My main duties in Psychology currently include:

  • Secretary to Head of Department.
  • Organising open days.
  • Running the staff and visitors induction programme.
  • Administration of conferences, short courses and workshops. 
  • Keeping finance records for the Research Committee.
  • Minuting the Psychology Executive Committee, Research Committee and Staff Meetings. 
  • Authorising orders. 
  • Arranging travel both home and abroad.
  • Recording and monitoring staff leave.
  • Maintaining the online staff resources web site (Moodle).
  • Maintaining media notice boards.
  • Supporting the student led Psychology Society.
