I have been working in the School of Education for just over four years now. Before this I was a mathematics consultant working for Hampshire County Council. This involved supporting schools with curriculum and staff development.

I taught secondary pupils for 16 years and was Head of Mathematics in three Hampshire schools.  I also held a senior teacher role in my final school.

I really enjoy my role as course leader on the PGCE and take great pride seeing my current and previous students encouraging children to enjoy and succeed in mathematics.
