Train as a Teacher

We offer an undergraduate course in education, and our PGCEs specialise in secondary teaching in 5 areas – English, Maths, Science, Geography and Modern Foreign Languages - plus Business Studies for 16- to 19-year-olds.  Additional support, in the form of subject knowledge enhancement courses, is offered for maths, science and language trainees, and we also offer courses for those returning to teaching or improving their skills in our partner colleges.  Our recent satisfaction scores put us near the top of the National Student Survey; external reports on specific courses have been highly complimentary, with Ofsted's latest inspection finding our teacher training provision to be good, with outstanding features.
