The most recent addition to our portfolio of courses is our new BSc degree in Applied Physics.

This course emphasises a practical problem-solving approach based on real world issues and has been designed in collaboration with colleagues in industry.

In SEES we are on hand to help you to get your first graduate job.

According to our students, Portsmouth is one of the best places in the UK to study for a degree in the earth and environmental sciences. You will be taught by scientists who are both committed teachers and enthusiastic researchers, and this provides you with access to the latest advances in your chosen subject area.

'I wish we could attract more people of the calibre of Portsmouth graduates'- Steve Edgar, Director, Vertase FLI Ltd (a leading geoscience consultancy firm).
