Conference outline

This meeting brings together for the first time two special interest groups in the Challenger Society for Marine Science – The Marine Biogeochemistry Forum and The Marine Optics Group. There is much overlap of areas of interest between the two groups, and this joint meeting will focus on topical and important areas including ocean acidification, bio-physical interactions, particle dynamics and carbon export and polar biogeochemistry. There will also be general sessions, including sediment biogeochemistry and new technologies (in-situ and sensors) and a poster event, with prizes for best student poster and talk. This meeting is the most recent in the series of AMBIO (Advances in Marine BIOgeochemistry) events.
