Workshops to help students manage their day-to-day lives at University

The Department for Curriculum and Quality Enhancement are running a series of workshops throughout the year, aimed at providing students with a variety of skills and techniques to help them manage their day-to-day activities and improve their quality of life whilst at University. The workshops cover a variety of topics and are open to all students. The current programme is:

The Mood Boost Course

A fun and practical course to learn proven strategies for tackling stress and lifting your mood.
Every Tuesday from the 20th November - 11th December 2012, 5 - 6pm.

Being Assertive: A guide for beginners

A chance to learn and practice some assertiveness skills that you can take away with you.
Wednesday 21st November, 2 - 4.30pm.

Sleep Easy: Get back on track with your body clock

A workshop exploring gognitive-behavioural methods to maximize the quality of your sleep.
Wednesday 28th November, 1.30pm - 4pm.

Stress Reduction through Mindfulness

This workshop is for students seeking ways of managing stress in their daily lives.
Wednesday 5th December, 1.30 - 4pm.
