Portsmouth Host 1st Stakeholders Meeting For The NERC Funded Macronutrient Cycles Project

On Friday 1st March Portsmouth University hosted the first stakeholder meeting of the 3.5 year, £1.4 million Christchurch Harbour Macronutrient Project, part of NERC’s Macronutrient Cycles Programme. The event was well attended with representatives from government bodies; Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), Environment Agency, Christchurch Borough Council, Christchurch Harbour Steering Group, interested businesses; Sembcorp Bournemouth Water, Wessex Water, ADAS UK Ltd, and involved universities; Portsmouth, Southampton and Oxford. The aim of the meeting was to allow interested parties to meet face to face and exchange information and ideas on the project.
