Course Accreditation
Accreditation provides assurance to prospective students that teaching on a masters course is of the highest quality and has been approved by an independent body of academics and industrialists. Importantly, an accredited degree also provides an accelerated route for graduates to attain Chartered Status, such as Chartered Geologist (CGeol) through the Geological Society.
The table below provides information on currently accredited courses:
| Course | Professional Body | Start date | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| MSc Engineering Geology | Geological Society of London | September 2011 | 6 years |
