Global health and social care Unit
The Global Health and Social Care Unit (GHU) is an interdisciplinary research team consisting of social and health care researchers from a range of disciplines including health sciences, social work, sociology, demography, health statistics, economics, geography and epidemiology with a mission to carry out research that promotes population health and to achieve health related Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The thematic areas of the Unit are:
- Post transitional fertility in developing countries
- Reproductive and Sexual Health
- Health inequalities
- HIV and AIDS
- Health risk behaviour
