Profile

John's research interests are in comparative social policy, with specific expertise in German social care legislation. His professional background in adult social care comprises two decades in local authority older people's, physical and sensory disability services as a practitioner and manager, with a recent focus on complaints management across adult social services. John brings this experience to his teaching which focuses on interprofessional and interagency collaboration, adult development, adult social care policy and legislation, and international perspectives in adult social care.
