Biographical Details
As a Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Radiography Education since 1994, Penny Delf has been involved in the development and delivery of the Foundation Degree in Medical Imaging, BSc (Hons) Radiography programme and MSc Medical Imaging (RNI route). Specialist areas of interest include, Paediatric Imaging and Radio-nuclide imaging, maintaining direct links with clinical practice through an honorary contract with Southampton University hospitals.
She is currently studying for a Professional Doctorate in Medical Imaging, with specific research interest in the development of a virtual learning environment for teaching radio-nuclide bone scan interpretation. Amongst many professional interests, she is a reviewer for various professional radiography journals/ publishers, external examiner, Interprofessional Education Programme facilitator and school link for IPLU1 and a member of the charity SANDS (Stillbirth & neonatal death).
