Profile

Sally trained as a nurse at The London Hospital, qualifying in 1977. Her nursing career has been firmly set in a critical care environment, with experience gained at Guy’s, The National Heart, The Royal Brompton, Queen Alexandra Hospital and St Richards Hospital, to name but a few.

Moving into higher education on a full-time basis in 2005, Sally maintains a strong clinical link, working in ITU on a regular basis.

Her main area of interest is developing critical care skills for healthcare professionals and as a member of the Operating Department Practice course team is engaging with the ExPERT Centre in the development and use of simulation for training and assessment.
