- Coordinator - Creative Writing in a Foreign Language (CWFL) Project.
The Prize for Creative Writing in a Foreign Language is a yearly award given to students for the best submissions written in a language which is not their original mother-tongue. Selected works are published both in print and on a specially designated website: www.port.ac.uk/creativewriting
Awards:
- 2004: The CWFL project won the European Award for Languages (EAL Award), a national prize organised by CILT: The National Centre for Languages (http://www.cilt.org.uk/) for its innovation and academic relevance. The award was presented in London by the award patron, Sir Trevor McDonald.
- 2006: The CWFL project was awarded the University of Portsmouth Learning and Teaching Fund for contributing to the promotion of excellence in the educational and personal experiences of our students.
