The Department of Sports and Exercise Science is now ranked as seventh in England and eleventh in the United Kingdom for Sport Science, according to the 2014 tables published by ‘The Complete University Guide.’ These independent tables rank Departments based upon a number of key factors including student satisfaction, entry standards, research quality and graduate prospects. The current position represents a five place improvement on last year and sees the University of Portsmouth consolidate its position as the premier University for Sports Science in the South East.
