Profile

Background

Matthew graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a BSc (Hons) in Marine Environmental Science in 2007. He then moved to Belize where he designed, and managed  a Marine Field Station and Laboratory.  There he gained a wealth of experience in managing projects, maintaining specialised equipment and working alongside researchers and scientists to ensure successful completion of their lab and fieldwork.  Matt returned to the UK in 2011 to complete his own postgraduate research back at the University of Portsmouth. This position provides a change of focus and transfer of skills into another branch of the scientific community. When out of the office Matt likes to travel as much as he can and indulge in his love of SCUBA Diving.
