Professor Dan Finn on overseas experience of welfare-to-work programmes

In an article titled 'Get with the Programme' Dan Finn, Professor of Social Inclusion, outlines the experiences of Australia and the USA relating to the use of private and third-sector companies delivering employment and training programmes. Based on his recent presentation at the policy seminar recently organised by the University of Birmingham's Third Sector Research Centre, the article appears in Public Finance, published by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accounting.
Mention of Professor Finn's work has also appeared recently in an article by Solomon Hughes for the Morning Star.
