Profile

Sharon has worked on newspapers as a sports journalist, news reporter and sub-editor, and written for a range of print and online markets. Her main areas of interest are feature writing, specialist journalism, sports journalism, the journalist in film and fiction, and how journalists can best use social networking.

She is the former managing editor of www.reviewingtheevidence.com, a large independent crime fiction review website (nominated for an Anthony Award in 2007) and still reviews regularly for the site. Sharon also reviews for R2, a national music magazine.

She blogs at a Daily Act of Journalism, Two Fat Vegetarians and at Hey, There’s a Dead Guy on the Living Room Floor, which was dubbed one of the top eight mystery blogs by America’s influential Library Journal.
