Dave studied for a BA at Manchester University and an MSc at the London School of Economics.
Dave has published a variety of papers in prestigious international collections in the areas of nations and identity in Europe, citizenship, immigration and public policy in the new Europe.
Current Research Interests
Nation and Identity in Contemporary Europe, The Development of a European Immigration Regime, and Immigration, Citizenship and Social Exclusion in the New Europe.
Dave teaches level three core units on Social Divisions and Social Change, and States, Markets and Citizens. He also offers a level two option on Race and Society in Britain and Europe.
