Staff-Led Extra Curricular Employability Projects

This fund has been established to provide staff with an opportunity to bid for funds to establish or support projects that will provide students with opportunities to take part in projects that will enhance their employability skills.

Examples of projects include GameJam and Stina and the Wolf.

Two types of funding are available:

• Match Funding: Maximum award £3000
• One-off grant: Maximum award £1000

There are three funding rounds per annum. The deadlines for each are highlighted below:

• Round 1: 07 December 2012
• Round 2: 15 March 2013
• Round 3: 24 May 2013

Supported Activities

Projects that provide extracurricular opportunities for students to engage in employability enhancing opportunities. Projects must not be related to, or form any part of, student assessment.

Who Can Apply

Full time CCI staff members (Academic, administrative and support)

Additional Information

• Projects must be completed by 31 August in the year that the award was made. Funds cannot be carried over.
• Any monies not spent will be returned to the fund.
• Applications to the fund are made via a competitive process. Bids may not be successful.
• Applications received after an advertised deadline will not be considered in that round.
• You must attend an application Workshop prior to deadline.
