Departmental Open Days are important events exclusively for people who have applied to the University of Portsmouth and been made an offer to study. We understand it's a big decision to decide where you're spending the next three years of your life studying, so we want to offer you another opportunity to come and visit us and get to know the department you'll be studying at in much more detail. It’s a great way to find out more about your chosen subject and to meet the staff who will be teaching you. Departmental Open Days offer you the chance to see the university and the city for yourself and generally get a feel for the place

Some of you may not have had the opportunity to visit us and get a general overview of the University. The morning sessions in our departmental open days are entirely optional and give those of you who've not already come for a look-around the chance to see a bit more of the University.

Even if you have already attended one of our general Preview Days, attending a Departmental Open Day is an important experience that can help you make your final decision.

How to Book

Once you have applied to the Faculty of CCI and been made an offer of a place, we will invite you to an Open Day. These will be held on Wednesdays and Saturdays between February and March 2013. For further information on these dates and the subjects available please visit the Booking page.

These days are extremely popular. To avoid disappointment please book a place as soon as possible. It is essential to book onto these open days. If you are unable to attend the date you have booked, please contact us on the details above.
