Marius Kwint on Beth Fisher

Beth Fisher, RSA, presents powerful recent work following its acclaimed exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh.

Beth Fisher's unflinching figurative drawings, etchings and monotypes express the emotional experiences of a mother at the centre of the life-cycle.

Born and raised in the US, Fisher has lived and worked mainly in Aberdeen for nearly forty years.

A virtual tour and essay can be found in Studio International.
